Initial notes

  • Wow! they use FrameBasedSkin? for tutorials with instructions on top and sample page on bottom. See http://skyloom.jot.com/TutorialHome.
  • the have summary page of all "tags" which are equivalent to TWiki variables. TWiki has this in TWikiVariables but could also include simple guidelines for Plugins.
  • Their idea of an "application package" is, as they describe "a bundle of wiki pages." Pretty simple really. Comparable to simple TWiki applications. The Task manager package is really centered around forms. I think that their idea of wiki application is really very much a form-based application. The wikiness is really just in the "notes" box.
  • Makes extensive use of XML and XPath. Seems there would be long-term advantages of building upon these standards.
